Employed Worker Training -
Employed Worker Training provides grant funding for customized training for businesses
that have been operating in the state of Florida for at least one year. It is designed
to reimburse approved local businesses up to half of their eligible training costs.
It helps businesses:
- To advance their current employees’ wages and positions
- Enhance employees’ productivity and work quality
- Build employees’ loyalty and decrease employee turnover
- Allow businesses to remain competitive
Quick Response Training -
The Quick Response Training Program (QRT) provides grant funding for customized training for new
or expanding businesses. Through this customer-driven program, Florida is able to effectively
retain and attract businesses creating new high-quality jobs.
Incumbent Worker Training -
The Incumbent Worker Training Program provides grant funding for customized training
for existing for profit businesses. Through this customer-driven program, Florida is
able to effectively retain and keep businesses competitive through upgrade skills
training for existing full-time employees.

Each Career Central location includes a designated meeting space available
(by reservation) to area employers. Make plans now to host your important
